This CD focuses upon the soloistic elements of Orthodox services (solos, duets and trios, rather than full choir), drawing upon both the Byzantine and Slavic traditions. Produced by PSALM (Pan-Orthodox Society for the Advancement of Liturgical Music), it is hoped this CD will encourage the exploration of the musical possibilities offered by a relatively small complement of voices.
